Family Fishing Derby

Start Father’s Day weekend off by bringing the family out to Cornerstone Lakes Park to do a little fishing. Enjoy a light breakfast by the pond and try to catch the ‘big one.’ Each participant receives a goodie bag and trophies are awarded to participants in each age category! Bring your own fishing poles, bait and hooks.

Are you ready for another amazing summer with the West Chicago Park District? Join us on June 21, from 11am – 3pm for our summer kick-off event at The Shell in Reed-Keppler Park! Family fun, bounce houses, inflatable obstacle course, games, activities, food trucks and live entertainment by Off the Charts! This afternoon will be filled with fun for the whole family! No registration required!
Kids Triathlon

Get ready for the ultimate adventure at the Splash, Dash & Pedal Bash! This action-packed kids’ triathlon will have young athletes biking, running, and swimming their way to victory–all while celebrating Unplug Illinois Day and Turtle Splash’s 30th Anniversary!
Participate as an individual in our Kids Triathlon! Ages will be separated into groups: 6-8, 8-10, and 11-13. Each leg of the race will be timed individually and combined for your final time. All participants must wear their bibs during their race.
After the Triathlon, everyone is invited to enjoy a DJ, Aqua Zumba Classes, chalk on the deck, contests, and giveaways from 12:00-4:00pm!
Taco & Art Festival

Special performances by Trabuco Salsa Band, Mariachi Michoacana, D33 Folkloric Ballet.
